This was a simple project, but an important one for the customer. This is a brand new home, finished building just 4 months before we installed this butler’s panty. The builder did not give them what they wanted in the space originally so they contacted us to make the space exactly what they wanted.
This is a brand new house with brand new cabinets. The challenge here is to match the style that's in the house. If you've ever tried to decide on a color for a wall in your house you'll know there are about a million greys out there.
So we color matched this color by hand to insure accuracy. Left is our cabinet, right is the island that was in the home already.
Here we are laying out the room and cutting baseboard
This is the underlayment that will support the countertop evenly so there are no tendencies overtime for it to come out of level.
Inside of the cabinet matches the drawer box color and texture so when you open the drawer it is all the same tone. Also notice the undermount metal slides with high quality bearings and soft close feature.
Nice marble look to the countertop. This is an acrylic countertop so it won't stain, it's non porous and it's lighter than stone so if you're not sure about the load rating of your joists this is a safe bet.
